Building A
St. Joseph Grade School is housed in three
buildings of the parish complex located on
eleven acres of land in what is considered
downtown Toms River.

A large three story brick building of 13 classrooms for grades one
through four. Administrative offices, Library, computer lab and a 60' x 100' gymnasium are located on the main floor.
The cafeteria, faculty room, enrichment/recovery office and duplicating rooms
are all located on the bottom floor. The health and counseling offices are
also located in this building.
Building B
Adjacent to and connected to Monsignor Donovan High School, Building B houses classrooms for grades 5 through 8, as well as administrative offices and the art and music room. Two trailer facilities house the Monmouth-Ocean County Compensatory Education and Speech Departments.
New Church
A full-day Kindergarten program operates in three classrooms on the lower level of the new church building.
Most of our students use the transportation service provided by their public school district. Students will be picked up and delivered to a regular stop daily. No departure from the regular bus route is permitted. Less than 3% of our students walk to school. Parents/guardians who chose to transport their children to school must follow a designated bus route for drop-off of children.

At any time when parents/guardians come to school to pick up their children, they are to meet them in the Main office and sign them out. Bus regulations are to be obeyed at all times in order to assure safety. The respective bus drivers are in complete charge of the bus and the students.
